Tradition, Challenge, and the Outdoors: Ben Hagens

Greetings, fellow hunters! My name is Ben Hagens, and I live in the hardwood state of Pennsylvania, where my passion for the outdoors first began. From a young age, I was fortunate to be guided by my Grandpa and Dad, both active outdoorsmen who showed me the ropes. They taught me the value of putting food on the table and the importance of appreciating God’s great outdoors.

In recent years, I’ve added a new challenge to my hunting journey, trading in my compound bow to pick up a longbow and flintlock. There’s something incredibly rewarding about taking on the hunt with more traditional gear. It’s not just about the harvest anymore; it’s about embracing the challenge, the history, and the connection to the land.

My love for the outdoors has taken me to breathtaking places in the Rockies and Appalachian Mountains, giving me unforgettable views, wildlife encounters, and friendships made along the way. Meeting fellow hunters and like-minded people in the field, and in the industry, has shaped not only my hunting style but my entire outdoor lifestyle.

As a field staffer for Cervicide, I’ve had the opportunity to represent amazing outdoor partners, and I’m truly excited to be joining the Scent Armor family. I look forward to sharing what we’re all about and helping others discover products that really works.
