Hi, I’m James Izod, a 30-year-old outdoor enthusiast from southern Oklahoma. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, hiking, or simply shooting bows, I feel most alive when I’m outside. Among all my passions, archery stands out, especially 3D events and bowhunting.

Oklahoma’s public land offers some truly unique challenges. Even though I have access to private property, I often find myself drawn to the wild, untamed spots that force me to adapt and explore. There’s just something special about discovering the unknown.

Living the Archery Life

I’m active on social media and a proud member of Beyond the Release Outdoors. I also run a small but growing archery business called Custom Flight Archery, where I build custom arrows and work on bow setups. One of my favorite things to do is introduce people to archery and the outdoors, there’s nothing like watching someone get hooked on that first shot.
