A Family Tradition: Dana Hare

Hi, my name is Dana Hare, and I’ve been hunting for 32 years, 30 of those with a bow in hand. Hunting has always been a true passion of mine, but these days, my favorite part is sharing the experience with my kids.

I wasn’t there when my oldest daughter got her first deer, but I’ll never forget the excitement in her voice when I got the call. I’ve had the privilege of watching my son take his first, and then his second, deer. Honestly, I think I was more excited than he was!

These are the moments that remind me why I love the outdoors so much. It’s not just about the harvest, it’s about the memories made, the lessons learned, and the time spent together in the woods.
